Why We Created MibbyTalk ?
We noticed that for some families, sticking with high-tech AAC can be challenging: in the very beginning, children can feel overwhelmed by complex programs and settings — and some give up before AAC ever has the chance to truly help.
That’s why we created "MibbyTalk" — a mid-tech communication device designed to make those first steps into alternative communication simpler and more approachable. It helps non-verbal children express their needs and feelings in daily life, reducing frustration and emotional overwhelm, while also acting as a gentle bridge toward future use of high-tech AAC tools — if and when families decide they’re ready.
MibbyTalk is not a replacement for professional AAC systems — our hope is that more families will eventually benefit from AAC in all its forms. We simply want the journey to feel a little easier, a little calmer, and a lot more supportive from the very beginning.
